Kidsgrove Scouts - Show Announcements
The 2010 season is part of a very special year for the
Kidsgrove Scouts organisation as it celebrates its 100th Anniversary.
As we mark this major milestone for our organisation we will have two guards competing in WGUK for 2010.
OPEN CLASS
This season the members of the Kidsgrove Scouts Open Class guard will celebrate being a part of the Kidsgrove organisation by performing their 2010 production: ‘Colour Blind’
All of the members and staff are excited to bring this unique and original concept to the Winterguard arena.
“The world is simply black and white; there isn’t any colour in my life”
Each of us has barriers, often self imposed or learned from past experiences that stand in the way of us living the life we dream of.
We are never powerless to make changes and break down these barriers, but an individual’s ability to change depends on their freedom to alter their beliefs.
It takes courage to push yourself to places that you have never been before, to test your limits, to break through barriers.
Are you a glass half empty or a glass half full person?
Now is the time to reach beyond the barriers and appreciate the colour beyond.
JUNIOR CLASS
The members of the Junior Class guard are looking forward to their first season in WGUK and under the design and instructional team made up of staff and members of the Senior Corps and Senior Winterguard they are proud to present their 2010 production:
‘Believe in your Choice’
One of the definitions of life is that your life is your choice.
This definition is really true if you see that everyday you make many choices:
what you wear, which television program you watch, who you spend your time with and what music you listen to.
Have you ever thought you had the perfect music for a Winterguard show, but nobody seems to agree with you?
Believe in your Choice and watch the Kidsgrove Juniors as they search the jukebox, looking for that perfect song.

We hope that you enjoy the performances of both of our guards as much as our members will enjoy performing them for you.
The members and staff of the whole organisation would like to wish all competing units the best of luck for the 2010 competitive season.
