Mayflower and Southern Knights take the honours at Crawley

The K2 Leisure Centre in Crawley played host to the second contest of WGUK 2010 season on Sunday 31st January with 19 Guards in competition.

Mayflower took top honours in the Open Class with Southern Knights taking A Class, Junior Class and Cadet Class.  

For the first time WGUK welcomed a French Guard into competition (France does not currently have a competitive Winterguard circuit) and Xpression from Hellemmes were placed 2nd in the A Class.

The season moves up north next weekend with 10 Guards competing in Huddersfield and a week later Colchester will see 19 Guards in competition with an Indoor Percussion unit in exhibition as well.
